Originally planned to run 2 5ks in 20:30 (6:35 pace), 2 min rest in between but I wussed out b/c I was a lil dehydrated and cramping at first =( Here is what I did do. TM workout 2 mile warm up 3 sets of 2 mile repeats at 6:35 pace (13:10)
2 min rest in between 1 mile cool down Felt better when I was in the 2nd set. The pace wasn't too daunting. I know I can run the 2 5k's at that pace, I just don't think I'm 100% today. Oh well...at least I know I can run 2 mile repeats at my last 5k PR pace. Oh BTW, so the marathon I was SUPPOSED to run last month emailed us and gave us a great offer... NOT! For this month only, we can register for next year's marathon for 50% off. Yup, that's it! I might just do it anyway, b/c I plan on running a lot of marathons starting this fall through next year in attempt to qualify for Boston. I've got a long, tough road ahead of me before that happens.
